Promoting Austria Tourism in China

First, create the Chinese variant of the international Austria Tourism web site. Set up the CMS and back end. Train employees on how to use the system and maintain the site.
Then, build a system to educate Chinese travel agents about travelling to Austria, so they better inform their customers.

Based on the existing platform, mediaman set up the CMS and filled it with content for the Chinese audience. In the next step, we conducted several training sessions, in which we educated Austrian National Tourist Office how to maintain a successful web site and the travel agent employee base in China on how to use the system. In addition, we took care of optimization for the website of Austrian National Tourist Office (
www.aodilin.info) and Vienna Tourism (
www.weiyena.info) in Chinese search engines and initiated keyword campaigns.
The eLearning solution for travel agents contains online quizes and central scores so that agents can compete against each other in a playful way.

The Chinese version of the Austria Tourism web site represents a local adaptation that is maintained locally by well trained employees. The eLearning platform we built was well received and is still very successful. This adds to the interest in travelling to Austria.
