Re-invent the online display of cars in order to better represent the high standard brand identity of Mercedes Benz. Ensure that an innovative solution is easily usable by all visitors. Build a system that can easily be rolled out world wide. Support Mercedes-Benz China Limited with rolling out a retail solution and implementing the NextGeneration web site.

The approach

Using an iterative process integrating usability testing and re-testing, we built upon the existing content to ensure an emotional appeal combined with high user acceptance. Visitors are highly engaged in the visual car configuration process.

By ensuring highest levels of back end system flexibility and configurability, world wide market adaptions are easy.

The solution

High proportions of imagery, combined with appealing animations and easy interactions assure a modern, glossy appearance of Mercedes-Benz cars online. Due to frequent user testing, joy and ease of use are both guaranteed. International market adaptions are accompanied by mediaman, and will soon include the roll-out in China – where we already supported the implementation of the current Mercedes-Benz retail solution.
