The Client
DaimlerChrysler offers a unique range of used trucks on the new online platform for its commercial vehicle/used car center (the brand: TruckStore) – associated with comprehensive services and consistent service standards.
The Task
Develop a TruckStore brand portal on the Internet that is standardized across Europe. Support discriminating customers and sales partners with a well designed e-business solution.
Communication Architecture
An online marketplace for all of Europe with regional vehicle search capabilities. Additional convenient features such as dynamic reporting of inventory for advanced searches, an automatic search request function with e-mail messages and the capability of saving personal settings. The website test was a mediaman usability test that included industry experts (individual interviews, video analyses). The result: it passed with flying colors.
The Benefits
The vehicle search process has a logical user interface. The TruckStore design provides clear and intuitive forms and screens. The result: a platform that conveys the TruckStore brand claim perfectly throughout Europe, and to professional dealers, it makes the brand synonymous with used commercial vehicles.
