mediaman was assigned by Vinyl Group, a famous interior design studio in Shanghai, to develop their website. Vinyl has created numerous splendid interiors in town, such as for Bar Rouge, MAO or Simply Life, to name a few. Their work should be presented online, within a framework that reflected their creative skills.

The design concept reflects Vinyl Group's experimental approach in their creative works. Round, colored shapes, inspired by Shanghai's illuminated facades, are reacting to cursor movements. The truly dynamic interface is a playful way to enter Vinyl Group's portfolio.

Vinyl Group's website is entirely Flash-based, but also powered by a customized content management system (CMS). Through this CMS, Vinyl Group can update their references anytime, with text, images & video.
