We are looking for a UX Designer to join our team. You will interface with clients to understand their demands and coordinate their concepts with product owners, project managers and creative and production departments to implement a strategy consistently. For this position, we expect you to organize design strategies for complex systems so that users can find exactly what they’re looking for. You will focus on the target audience, the underlying technologies, the business processes and actual information that needs to be communicated. You should be able to translate user behavior into media structure, craft interactive experiences, produce workflow diagrams and other production materials including layout, site maps, navigation models and content models for digital products, platforms and experiences.


  • Research and Analysis of user needs, preferences, objectives, and working methods; studying how users consume content
  • Aligning with key business stakeholders, such as business owner, product owner and technology provider on business objectives and design strategy
  • Planning the information architecture, envisioning an overall architectural scheme, the information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design
  • Defining user scenarios; preparing data models; designing processes, dataflow, and navigation; evaluating information representation
  • Preparing paper and interactive prototypes and mockups including page layout and navigational elements; coordinating with project stakeholders to integrate concept, visual design, content and navigational structure; documenting structure and processes in respective documents such as sitemap, pagelist and PRD
  • Validating concepts by conducting user testing; evaluating analytics reports; studying user feedback; observation and monitoring of the designed application
  • Updating the job-related knowledge by tracking research regarding information architecture, user experience and technology; participating in educational trainings and other events; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhancing the reputation of mediaman by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Required skills

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • At least 2 years of related working experience
  • Firm understanding of user-centered design processes and information architecture principles
  • Demonstrable UX design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
  • Proficiency in Visio, Axure, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Basic Knowledge on web technology, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
  • Ability to present concepts and ideas to various stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies
  • BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related
  • Chinese and/or English language skills
